Identity is really hard
You can be searching for yours
All your life like a trading card
Just to see it discard

Identity is also tough to figure out
Since it cant be described by your appearance or your looks
And it cant be read in any books
It must be found through the things that shape the person that you are

For me identity can be really deceiving
I think I know mine until I stop believing
Although identity may be difficult
if you keep searching you will eventually start receiving

Although identity is a mess
I know what mine is more or less
