I go to Mendham High School
I attend everyday, I am no fool
I try my best in every class
Making sure I always pass

In school I may seem dumb
But in class I am no bum
Always busy, like a bee
Making sure I wear a smile with glee

Is it a crime to be myself?
Being categorized like books on a shelf
Can’t we all be nice and equal
Everyone deserves and needs nice people

My life is like a roller coaster
Ups and downs all the time
Is being nice all of a sudden a crime?
Even when I am trying my best
Some feelings can never be expressed.
